FRA INNOVAZIONE E TRADIZIONE

Bufalini is an Italian company operating in the marble and stone industry for over three hundred years.

As custodian of an extensive history and part of a well-established tradition, Bufalini’s name is interwoven with the renown of Carrara marble, a material known for its sophisticated aesthetics and manifold processing possibilities.

“My adventure in design began with a meeting with Paolo Ulian, who opened me up to new and unique visions in marble design.”

explains Francesca Bufalini. “Each new object created has always aroused a strong emotion in me, each time nourishing curiosity and surprise which, with the passing of time, have become the stimulus to continue on this journey with ever more enthusiasm and dedication.”

Four generations have succeeded one another at the helm of the company, passing on an increasingly profound and multifaceted know-how – knowledge and expertise reflected in the marble object that becomes the starting point for surfaces, coatings and furnishing pieces of innovative design, thus demonstrating the broad range of possible uses for the material. “This path has guided me, firstly to listen to my emotions, and secondly to try to translate them into a value that could progressively enrich our company as well, in a universe that combines the love for marble with the joy of the search for beauty and the innovation conveyed by ethical principles that are important for all of us,” explains Francesca.
