This lamp was designed to upcycle marble offcuts generated during the production of the “Spacco” bookcase or eventually to utilize left overs of 20 x 20 cm cladding tiles. The initial thickness of these tiles is reduced to create thinner, tapered marble pieces—drastically lightening their weight and amplifying their translucency when illuminated. Each marble fragment is suspended by two ultra-thin steel cables anchored to the ceiling, ensuring precise spatial positioning while creating an ethereal, gravity-defying composition hiding the central lamp and eliminating shadows.
