Panel composed of tiles measuring 50 × 50 cm. Its threedimensional pixel surface can be modified and customised by manually removing individual marble pixels and breaking them up freely with a hammer or screwdriver. All kinds of decorative motifs can be created, characterised by the interplay of light and shadow to reveal drawings, words and much more.
Pixel panel made by Bufalini and hand-sculpted by Paolo Ulian installed in the hall of the Kanavaranta 1 building designed by Alvar Aalto in Helsinki.
